Dr. Bill Code has partnered with Genelex Corp. to offer Pharmacogentic or Drug Reaction testing that identifies and classifies CYP2D6, CYP2C9, CYP2C19, CYP1A2 and NAT2 into their slow, normal, and ultra-fast metabolizing forms.

POOR METABOLIZER
No or very low levels of the liver enzyme, this can lead to toxic buildup of medications processed by this enzyme at standard doses.

INTERMEDITATE METABOLIZER
Slightly reduced levels of the liver enzyme, this may require reduced doses and can cause problems if you are taking more than one medication processed by this enzyme.

EXTENSIVEMETABOLIZER
Normal levels of the liver enzyme.

ULTRA-EXTENSIVEMETABOLIZER
Increased levels of the liver enzyme, this may cause medications at standard doses to process out so quickly that the desired medical benefit is not reached.
